Timur Akhmedzhanov

I am deeply grateful for the financial support that was provided to me through Heep Graduate Fellowship. Thanks to this support, I had a chance to fully concentrate on doing my research and coursework (which would not be possible if I was on teaching assistantship). Also I had an opportunity to learn from worldly recognized scientists and discuss my research with them. Working under my advisor Prof. Olga Kocharovskaya and being in contact with TIAS Faculty Fellow, Nobel Laureate, Prof. Roy Glauber, I achieved several interesting results and got deeper understanding of Physics in general. I have presented my research at 3 conferences: Physics of Quantum Electronic (PQE) (Snowbird, Utah, Jan. 2014), the 17th Gordon Research Conference on Multiphoton Processes (Waltham, MA, June 2014) and the 2014 TAMU-Casper College Summer School on Quantum Science and Engineering (Casper, WY, July 2014) as well as at PQE Follow up Workshop (TAMU, Jan. 2014). Two manuscripts giving results of our research are being prepared for Physical Review A submission. I am truly inspired by the achieved progress in research and plan to further develop it working with Dr. Kocharovskaya and Dr. Glauber. All this would not be possible without the support I received from Heep Fellowship. Thank you for investing in me and my future.
